Anytime you feel any negative emotion or low mood it’s because one or more of your needs is not being met.
If instead of blunt, vague labelling (like “I’m tired”)—or, worse still, projecting (like “I’m miserable because she won’t go out with me”)—you can translate that into which of your needs isn’t being met, there’s always some way to get that need fulfilled. You become unstoppable.
(As a fun aside: notice how sex isn’t, in itself, one of the needs…)
