Boundaries are not oppressive they are freeing.

If you have a school playground with no fences. Within the people within it have to spend a lot of energy checking that they are always safe and avoiding danger, looking at all times for whether there’s a car that’s about to run them over.

By putting the fence up, by saying, this is what is safe this is what is comfortable and this is what is not you give absolute free rein within those boundaries and that’s incredibly freeing.

Parallel with setting personal boundaries in relationship.

If you’re clear about what you’re comfortable with and what you’re not you’re creating this immense space of freedom and ease.

That everyone can totally be themselves and know that.Everyone else is comfortable.
